MANAfest ‘09
by Secretary-general Mr. J.W.B. Baron van Till:
From 31 May through 3 June 2009 IUCAB’s North American Member Association MANA will hold its Annual Conference MANAfest ‘09 at the Green Valley Ranch Resort, Henderson, Nevada.
In today’s world there is almost no way to predict the economy and the agent’s business. The competition for new lines gets stiffer every day and today’s manufacturers will only consider working with agents who keep themselves at the head of the pack by planning, training and staying abreast of new developments in the industry. MANA members will be able to invest in their professional development at MANAfest.
Participants to MANAfest will be able to see Alan Beaulieu (Economist, Senior Analyst Institute for Trend Research) detail the economic forecasts and Aric Newhouse from the National Association of Manufacturers outline the future of manufacturing in America.
Bryan Shirley, MANA President and CEO will speak about facing today’s major issues in the agency business, the right time to buy or sell an agency firm, succession planning and sales tools that win.
Many other specialists and well known speakers will give presentations during the 3 days’ Conference among which Ken Schmidt (Communications Consultant, former Director of Communications for Harley-Davidson), Pat Cobb (World Class Industries), Dan McQuiston, Ph.D. (Chair, Marketing and Management Department Butler University), Paul Pease (President of the Pease Group), John Satagaj (President of the Small Business Legislative Council) and many others.
MANA’s commitment to participants to MANAfest ’09:
“You will be better informed, better trained, better prepared – and better than your competition.”
Several members of the Executive Committee of IUCAB have already confirmed their participation to MANAfest ’09. Members of the IUCAB Associations in Europe who are interested to participate should visit the MANA Website for further information and registration details:
