EUROCOMMERCE 15TH ANNIVERSARY IN BRUSSELS

IUCAB PRESIDENT ATTENDS THE EUROCOMMERCE 15TH ANNIVERSARY IN BRUSSELS
IUCAB President, Mr. Kriton Phitidis, participated at the EuroCommerce 15th anniversary in Brussels on 8 October 2008 upon the invitation from the EuroCommerce President, Senator Feargal Quinn.
The event was attended by many Officials, such as Ministers, European Commissioners, Members of the European Parliament, Representatives from EuroCommerce Members and Top Executives from European business.
Free simultaneous workshop debates were followed by a reception where the President of the European Commission, Mr. Manuel Barroso, spoke about the current state of and turmoil in the financial economy. Mr. Barroso stated that any protectionist measures should be avoided and that trust must return to the banking system.
Mr. Phitidis promoted the IUCAB Brand and spoke about IUCAB and the commercial agency profession with many of the people in attendance and especially with the EuroCommerce President and Secretary-General.
