NEW SECRETARY-GENERAL OF THE SWEDISH ASSOCIATION

After 14 years of office as Secretary-General of the Swedish Association of Agents, Mrs. Anna Wigardt Duhs has retired and is succeeded by Mrs. Helena Waker.

For many years Anna Wigardt Duhs has been a key person in the contacts between IUCAB and the Swedish Member Association. Her evident dedication to the commercial agency profession, her efficient and modern approach towards a healthy development of the Swedish Association has caused her to be an inspiring figure for many of her colleagues involved in the Management of the other IUCAB Member Associations. In the Secretarial Working Group of IUCAB, Mrs. Wigardt Duhs has played a prominent role by reporting on the activities developed within the Swedish Association to the benefit of its Membership and by showing an open mind in the discussions with colleagues from other IUCAB Member Associations on how to constantly improve the benefits of Membership. Mrs. Wigardt Duhs’ leading role in the execution and organisation of Trade Missions to China, the developing of a truly first class website, the contacts with the world of fashion and related Trade Fairs has served as an example for many other people all over the Western part of the globe who are in charge of National Agents Associations.

IUCAB regrets that Mrs. Wigardt Duhs is now leaving the Swedish Association after 14 years of office and thanks her for her active IUCAB involvement.
