GEORGE HAYWARD RE-ELECTED TO MANA BOARD

George Hayward of United Sales Associates, Cincinnati, Ohio has been re-elected to serve on the MANA Board of Directors. The three-year term begins May 1, 2008.
This will be George’s second term on the MANA Board of Directors. In 1999 George was appointed MANA Manager of International Development to help guide MANA’s transition to a more global organization, representing members’ needs. In 2001 he became the first non-European to be elected to the Board of IUCAB (International Union of Commercial Agents and Brokers). George currently serves on the MANA Executive Committee and the Strategic Planning Committee.
MANA, headquartered in Lake Forest, California, is the US largest organization of independent manufacturers’ agencies, nearly 7,000 strong, and has a sizeable associate membership of manufacturers. Founded in 1947, the Association sponsors educational programs for reps and manufacturers, stressing the practical aspects of building sales with an agency sales force. Its monthly magazine, Agency Sales, is read by more than 50,000 agents and manufacturers, and its online membership database is used by more than 30,000 manufacturers and business professionals worldwide.
